Solider Boy T-Bird, Sir
Uncle Terry sent this to me via,
Sabrina..."got this message as an email today. Thought you would like it."
Hi my name is Trish Morton. Tonight our church hosted Operation Appreciation for the soldiers. My son was taking pictures and Ellis asked me to send you a picture. He also asked me to send an e-mail to another address but, I forgot I put the paper in my pocket and washed it. It was Ellis82 something. Could you please let him know I am sorry. I am giving the church all of the other pictures that Brandon took for the church website http:///It will take about a week before they will be on the website. If you would like to see the pictures before that I created a Facebook account for the Operation Appreciation pictures. The address you will need for Facebook is Operation.Appreciation@yahoo.com
I have one Boot Camp Story to share....The soldiers were called up and told to pack for a 6.5 mile hike. Once everyone reported for the hike, the Drill Sargent ask if anyone had packed a flashlight. Tyler was the only solider out of 60 that packed a flashlight. The Drill Sargent dismissed the platoon leader and Tyler was made the new platoon leader. (I guess all those years of backpacking at Cranberry Glads paid off) Now Tyler reports to the Drill Sargent's office for orders for the platoon.
According to the letters Terry has received he has been able to throw two hand grenades, survived the gas chamber, used three different machine guns...one at night.
Graduation is being held at Ft. Knox, Radcliff, KY on October 24.
