Things I Have Learned....

After not having electricity for 5 days I have learned a few things...
1. Mother Nature is very powerful and we should never forget that fact.
2. If it looks dangerous, it probably is so stay away.
3. These really nothing that you can do to change it.
4. Always be prepared.
5 Step out of your comfort zone and help a stranger.
6. Your neighbors can be fun.
7. You can have fun without all the electronic gadgets in your house.
8. Cooking on a campfire is a lot of fun.
9. An 'inconvenience' gives you a chance to talk to strangers.
10. There is always someone in worse shape than you...be thankful.
11. Most people are good at heart.
12. Good friends are a true blessing.
13. Hot showers feel so good after a long hard day.
14. I am not as young as I once was.
15. I need a crank radio.
16. Never leave you car unlocked.

I didn't realize you'd been hit so hard by the storm. It blew most of it's fury out before it hit here, so it's hard to imagine what it was like there. Glad you made it through with (relative) lack of damage and interruption to your life!
