Round Robin Photo Challenge...Public Art
Carly chose this challenge...go out into your community and take shots of public art. Well, Mark and I did that the other day. I downloaded the pictures onto the computer. Put them in a folder and added them to the existing folder of Round Robin Photos. The yesterday when I went to write this entry...photos no where to be found. I have no clue where they are. I have searched and searched. They have just disappeared. So this is Plan B.
A few years ago when we were able to visit Cassie, Trevor and the kids in Colorado. When the girls were in Junior or Senior High School we 'drove' 28 straight hours on a bus with about 60 other youth and adults for the National Youth Conference held at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. It was fun to remember the times we had there. Lots of laughs and a few tears.
We parked right in front of this piece of art. I didn't see it. And when Cassie pointed it out to me I didn't get it. Are any of you as slow as I am? If you look really close at the children...they are spelling out Y-M-C-A with their arms like in the song by the Village People. I thought they were just balancing on the log.

Talk about a little scenery to go with your art, whew! lovely.
I hope this song gets stuck in your head all day because it is now embedded in mine.
Thank you very much.
That is darling.
Thanks for sharing.

I played too :)
I didn't get the poses until you said they were at the YMCA, but I knew right then what it was all about. Love it! Thanks for the smile.
