Big Day All Around
Today was one of those days where you seems to run out of time....this morning before 7AM (which is a miracle in and of itself)
, Sarah was waiting for Mark at the truck. Today was the first day of school! Junior year...can you believe it! She got a call late last night from someone at school wanting to know if she would like to take a new student around. Reports were good all around and I have a stack of papers to read, sign and return...most with checks to be attached...bummer!
Michael just couldn't wait to walk to the bus stop this morning He almost ran the entire way. He did slow down just a little bit so Skyler could catch up. Luke is not with us this year :( We are going to miss him. Michael had to remember his bus number, his lunch room number and who knows what else he had to remember. I understand that he forgot to remember not to talk in the line in the hallway...yellow ticket...oops. All he could say about school today was that the first recess what fun but the second one was lame because they only ate snack and didn't get to play. And then he was just a little upset with the lunch lady...for some reason she wouldn't let him have some chips. So tomorrow is is just going to fix her...he is going to have a hot dog and a piece of pizza. That should fix her wagon. 
I got to love on sweet Allyson today for just a little while. She and her Mom came for lunch and a visit. Let me just tell you that she is perfect, smells good, eats, sleeps, toots and fusses just a little bit and is just precious. I got some inside scoop on what she likes best which will come in very handy. Mom and Dad are doing great. She is letting them sleep 4 hours in one stretch in the night. I am counting the days until she comes. Oh to have a baby in the house again...can't get any better than that.
