Round Robin Photo Challenge...Morning, Noon and Night
And I thought this was going to be so easy. Vickie or at Maraca told me that it would be. All we were to do was photograph something, anything, the same thing at different times of the day...an experiment in using natural light. I am not sure that I quite got the assignment.
My first thought was to photo flowers. But then I thought again lets try something different. Laundry, one of my loves. I love to see laundry on the line. It looks like I have been working so hard.
This picture was exactly taken at noon. All the laundry has been washed and hung out to dry..all four lines of it. I notice that the shade is moving so maybe I am getting it right.
Oh, look ...there is the sun in front of us instead of behind us. It really did move. This is what I love to see...and empty line. You know what that means...all the clothes have dried i the breeze so they smell wonderful. Also that hey have been folded and put away. One task complete from beginning to end. Makes a body feel good.
I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to share one of my special flowers. This is a rain lily that my neighbor two doors, Ronda down shared with me. It is from her Mom's garden...which means a lot to me because both of us have lost our Moms. I see my Mom when I see this flower. I check it about every morning before I begin my day. Usually there is one bloom. Then at noon the same day while I was eating lunch on the patio, I noticed there were several new blooms that I hadn't noticed in the morning. They were just buds then. That night when I was checking to see if we were going to get a flood in the backyard because of all the thunderstorms I noticed that some of the lilies had closed up. I am not sure that this is a experiment in using natural light or not...but they are nice pictures. Makes you think how sutler changes can be made. Maybe I need to stop and smell the roses more often.

What a good idea for your subject! I have had days when laundry was my whole day. Morning, noon and night! LOL. Beautiful yard, it looks like a very peaceful place.
