A Day Out
Sarah is back at camp today...a different group of kids, a different theme camp and at a different camp site. Once we had lunch and she was settled in on the couch, Mark and I hit the dusty trail...that is the trail to our favorite Amish places. We actually had to take the desk chair back to Miller Brother's to be fixed. While we were in the area we went to several lumber yards and Tater Ridge. Tater Ridge is my all time favorite bestest place to go look for treasures. It is a farm where there are literally barns jammed with antiques and others things that you just can't live without. Herb knows us so well we got to bring all our treasures home and are sending him a check tomorrow. He knows where we live and he knows that we will be back.
I found the treasure of the day today...a potting table. Herb says that it is from the 1920's and was in a dairy but has never been used. I love it! The minute we drove up the in the driveway Mark jumped out and we had it on the back porch in two seconds.
Look what came in the mail today...hundreds of ladybugs. I ordered them so they could eat all the little bugs that are not good for the garden. They were so ready to get out of that little clear cup with a lid. They were flying everywhere. I sat for a good ten minutes and just watched. No one else seemed to be the least bit excited about them. Some of them didn't want to venture out into the brave new world. I had to give them a little nudge.
