Big Birthday
Today was a big day at our house...Pappy turned 56! Michael got off the bus telling me what we needed to do for the 'party' I had no idea we were going to have. We rushed to Kroger to buy all the things we needed to make a cake...according to the list Michael had made...chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, icing, of course, chocolate sprinkles. I told him that I thought we had enough candles so we didn't need to get any of those.
He was the taste tester.
He was chief chocolate sprinkler. He was in such a rush he didn't need to put on his chefs hat and apron.
And as for candles...we had just 50 so we added the 6 from Sarah's 16ththe birthday cake. There are actually 50 colorful candles and a big 6 to make 56...Works for me.
And wa-la...you have a birthday cake.....the best one ever!
As for the party goers...there were but a few but we had a great time. Just look at those happy faces!
