Another Baby
Now before you get all excited...Cassie IS NOT pregnant and we are not back into foster care.
Let me begin in the beginning...well, maybe not that far back....When we moved back to OH we looked at preschools in our area that share our philosophy. We showed up at a few for a surprise visit...I love that. The preschool that we chose was perfect. We talked to the teachers and found one teacher we really loved and thought that Michael would love. She reminds us a lot of Emmy. She taught a combined special needs (and you know how I love those kids) and typically developing children. Michael was always so good to help with T and C. And we felt that she would have Michael do things for himself, help him to learn self control and keep him under control. And did she ever...(some day I will tell you about the box of broken crayons). Ms. W got married at the end of last year. Before leaving school I made her promise that when she got pregnant I would be her caregiver/babysitter/nanny...whatever you want to call when it is that I will be doing. I check her web page for the classroom from time to time just to see what cool things they are doing. Just out of the blue I emailed her and found out that she is pregnant! This is a good thing and a bad thing.
Let me back up again for a sec...every time I have to make a big decision, which is very hard for me to do, God sits and waits until till I decide what to do...then everything just falls into place right like it should. I can tell you story after story how this has happened. And He came thru again this time...DUH. I told Barb this morning that I wouldn't be coming back to preschool and gave her all my reasons. She was great about it. Then she tells me that Katie's doctors have given her the okay to work part-time next year. See, God took care of every ones concerns and every ones needs will be supplied. Funny how that always works. Simply a God thing!
So now meet Baby Girl...due date July26th.
So I am already making a list of all the things that I will need in the fall...what will she call me?..Mrs. Ellis...Jan...Aunt Jan...Wammy...sending endless rambling emails to her Mom...just thinking about holding and smelling a baby makes me cry. I can hardly wait! Oh, it's going to seem like a long pregnancy.
