Round Robin Photo Challenge...Shoes
As I was wondering thru the Pioneer Woman today I happened on something I thought might be really fun. It is called a Round Robin (click on the words round robin to see what all the fuss is about). So I thought all through dinner and finally came up with a plan for my entry.(Teresa, you should give this a try)
So here goes.....
Shoes...they can tell a lot about the person they belong to. I went to buy some tennis shoes once and by looking at my shoes, the salesman told me that I walked on the outsides of my feet. I had no idea...I just put one foot in front of the other and try not to trip. I walked a marathon once in those shoes and did just fine...I finished. The way you treat your shoes tells a lot too. These are my shoes...lined straight in a row on my side of our closet. You see, when you wear size eleven, good looking shoes are hard to come by. So when you find a pair...you take really good care of them. When you look at my husbands shoes you can tell that he spends lots and lots of hours on his feet. I can remember one pair of shoes...they were black...and he wore a hole smack in the middle of the sole of his left foot. By the looks of the floor of his side of the closet you can tell it has been a busy week at work. Teenagers...where do you find their shoes...answer...all over the place! I was in search of shoes from our daughter. I just followed the path to her closet. Heaven forbid if the shoes were in their rightful place. When looking at these shoes I realized that maybe our daughters favorite time of year is summer...seems there is an abundance of flip flops that maybe we need to go thru and weed out the nasty ones. By the size of these shoes, you know that they belong to the youngest member of the family. They are lined up perfectly on the steps in the garage (because we don't want whatever is on the bottom in the house and maybe because he might be a tad bit OCD)) ready to hit the dusty trail to the bus stop bright and early on Monday morning...that is if we don't have another snow day. By closer examining his shoes...you might notice that something started to chew on the back of one of his shoes...as sure sign that there is a puppy in the house. It is that time of year when in the morning you can wear your tennis shoes to work in the garden, or ride your bike , or to even deliver newspapers. And then in the afternoon you might need you boots to slush through the snow and ice on the way to the mailbox at the end of the driveway. No matter what color, size or smell of a shoe...you can sure can tell a lot about the people who wear them.
If you'd like to see more entires you can go to the mastermind of this challenge Vicki at Maracas. It really in amazing to see how funny and talented people are.

My favorite shot is the one of your daughter's shoes. It may be messy, but it's really interesting from a visual/photgraphic standpoint, with lots of shapes and colors and angles to draw the eye. Well done!
