Guess What Today Is......

The TV kept calling for snow last night, starting late. Emmy was here with the girls for lunch. Around 3PM Sarah called to come pick her up. When I went out it was just starting to snow. By the time Emmy left a hour later the driveway was covered and the roads were getting bad. She called several times on her was to drop off the girls. It took Mark about an hour to get home and he had to come a different way....he didn't think he could make it up the hill. While everyone was trying to get home, Renee and I were having blast with he boys. The boys had started shoveling the driveways. You see when we shovel, we do both driveways. We thought it would be nice to have them done for when our husbands came home. I never did see John make it home. Mark could only make it half way up the driveway.
After shoveling the boys started making snow angels and we all started sledding. Renee tried first but she didn't go too fast. Then Mark got a little push from Michael and slid across the road and almost into the creek. I thought Michael was going to crack up. He was still talking about it when he went to bed. Right before going in we decided to make it one last time to see how far we could go. So Michael and I got in the yellow sled and Luke and Renee got in the blue sled and away we went. We didn't go to far too fast....who cares we had fun. But I am feeling it in my back today!
