Happy Mail
It feels like a Monday morning to me. We had an hour delay...or maybe I should say the kids in the school district where we live had a delay this morning. My district did not. So we had to do a little rearranging of the morning routine. Thank heavens Mark did not have to go to work until late today. I drove Sarah in the pick-up to school. Mark ram-roded the three amigos to the bus and then drove to preschool to switch cars with me so I would have the van to pick up the boys from the bus stop. When I get to school my mailbox is filled with tons of things to do. I spent the morning in the print room working with those big scary, expensive machines. The duplicator broke almost as soon as I started it. This is not a good thing on Thursday...it is the day that they print the bulletins for the services on Sunday. Not a good thing. I make it home just in time to meet the bus. When pulling into the driveway I usually stop to get the mail. This morning was no exception. I found two thing...junk mail and a letter from some special boys and their Mom in WI. I started crying the minute I saw the envelope. The boys look great! They are doing great. Both are in EC classes and Big T is speaking in 4-5 word sentences. He has a new sparkle in his eyes and according to Mom has 50 girlfriends. Crazy C will be going to K in the fall. They both sing in the church choir and are very happy. And I am happy too :). After I got myself together I showed Michael the pictures and asked him if he recognized the boys. He looked and made a funny face and said he didn't know who they were. Then I asked him to take a closer look and his remark was..."Mom, they sure were cuter when they were little."
