This morning was to be my first day back to work. I got up early and check to see what schools were closed or on a delay. Our school district was on a two hour delay. For us that means really nothing...we still go at the same time and get out at the same time. About 10 minutes down the road Cassie calls to tell me that they had just announced that our school was closed. I called my boss, because you never can tell about those Ellis'...are they telling the truth or maybe stretching it a little bit...and yes she had checked the posting on the Internet and we had a definite SNOW DAY....Yea! There is just nothing better than a snow day in my opinion. I could only make it half way back up the driveway. After three tries I just parked it, went in the house and put my pj's back on. Mark and I decided to go out on snow removal duty. While I was putting on my warm winter working clothes Mark started blowing the driveway. Now, some of you know that while we were living in WI, we had lots of snow and the first year we were there we invested in a John Deer snow blower. Well, it sits in the barn...not working...gathering cobwebs. But my genius husband being the resourceful man that he is, figured out that you can blow snow with a leaf blower just as effectively. I loved it!
