Day Four...Dr. Appointment

Well, sorta. The state of CO has mandatory genetic testing for all babies. I can't remember what all the are tested for, but it was an entire sheet of paper. And it is all free to the parents. Alaire had to go have blood drawn from her heel. She wasn't to happy about that but the nurse was so comforting to all of us. Alaire has gained three oz. so now she is a whopping 9 pounds! Cassie was able to talk to Julie and give her some tips on breast feeding. While we were at the hospital, Mark and the boys were shopping at Target. This is the outfit they came home with. Her first Halloween costume...cutest little punkin I ever saw. And she didn't mind the hat at all. This day was pretty non eventful. We got back home and decided to make some Taco Soup...it was to die for...really good! Maybe you would like to see and hear Alaire...enjoy the video on the right side of the blog entitled "Alaire Speaks...she actually started out with the hick-ups.. If Alaire crys he tells Cassie (like she doesn't already know) He wants her always to be happy. Such a good big brother. And he is a good helper around the house. Everyone sees to think that I run a boot camp...this should prove my point...remember last summer when Cassie and Ellis were here...Cassie "making" Michael run around the circle while she rode a bike.....The boys weren't feeling to well and the rest of us were pretty tired from our big day, so we just called it a night. I think we might have watched a little TV. We really didn't do to much except make plans for the next day. Because Saturday was the big parade in Longmont. Just wait till you see the pictures tomorrow.
