AAARRGGGG........ME MATEY

We have gone totally pirate crazy! Michael is now Pirate Black...Luke is Pirate Green and Skyler is Pirate...oh I can't remember. I'll have to ask him at the bus stop tomorrow morning. We have been digging around looking for anything having to do with pirates. Luke finally decided that he wanted to dress up like a real pirate too. Renee came home with a Jack Sparrow costume and he looks great! By the look on his face, I just not quite sure that he is in this 100% like the other two. The very next day Lynn found some different pirate things and Skyler looks great too Out of the blue,Saturday afternoon Renee came home with some really cool foam ships. We spent two hours over at their house putting these scary ships together. But, don't take my word for it...listen to the boys explain everything you ever wanted to know about pirates and their ships...and then some more...

Wal-Mart, JoAnn Fabric's, Target, and all spots in between looking for some cool pirate decorations for our house. We ended up with some spiders and a big web, a pirate to hang on the front door and some pirate thing that sticks in the ground. He still thinks we don't have enough. So tonight when he is sleeping the Halloween Decoration Fairy will cut bats out and hang them everywhere. I have never seen him so excited about anything other than trains. One day this week (when Skyler isn't grounded from friends) we are going to have a Pirate Party. We will be decorating buckets with pirate faces, eating some skull and cross bone brownies and decorating pirate jack-o-lanterns. I'm sure I will have tons of really great pictures...so BEWARE!

The Saga of the Lost Key...My school key disappeared one day last week and we have been frantically looking for it every spare minute we have. Mark found it in the hall closet on Saturday evening when he was taking the dog out for a little outdoor time. Seems that Michael had attached Ella's leash to it one day to see how far he could stretch it. And don't you know...it broke and he thought he was in deep dookie. That stinker even helped us look for it. Never once giving us a clue that he might know where it was. FYI...It stretches about 8 inches before it breaks.
