Finally 16

Never thought she would make it this far but this morning around 5:30AM, Sarah finally actually turned 16.

Here she is in her school outfit...fit for the Queen for the Day. There is one slight change at the last minute with the outfit...or should I say shoe selection....seems there was a little trouble getting out the door in one piece. So the last minute fill in was flipflops. A great day was had by all celebrating her birthday at school. Sarah, her best bud, made a cookie cake and decorated her locker. (She also contributed to the outfit...white top to cover the spaghetti straps that are a no no at the school.) Here is Chef Michael with the chocolate cake with chocolate icing and chocolate sprinkles. He did everything but ice the cake. What a glorious mess we had, but he was so proud. And it was pretty tasty.
