Fun in The Pool
Early each morning when I take the dogs out, I get the pool out and fill it with water. Early each morning Ellis walks by the pool, plays in the pool, finds all the turtles in the flowers and puts them in the pool, and then gets in the pool, clothes and all. By the end of the time Ellis and Cassie are here, we will look like we have gone to the beach...which ain't all bad! I could use a little color in these old cheeks. Right now I am thinking that Ellis may grow up to be a pool boy. He isn't satisfied until all the leaves and "yuckies" are cleaned out of the pool. Cassie, I think he must have your flexibility...look at that stretch and extension...remember your days of being carried like a basket...your claim to fame....Seems like we aren't just going thru pacis...still only one down...but turtles as well. If you look closely in this picture you will see something that might not look like a turtles head...but let me assure you it is a turtle head, tail and one leg. Ellis looks and finds all three of them and won't get in the pool until they are all in there with him...OCD maybe...Michael....meaning where's Michael....those are the words we hear all day long. Tonight I saw for the first time a little bit of a terrible two fit...let me just say that Ellis gets up in the mornings wanting Michael, whatever Michael does, Ellis does....Michael finally asked today if he could just go downstairs and take a break...meaning can I go downstairs without Ellis coming too. It didn't quite go over with the little one...a pretty good fit ensued. But it don't last to long when there was a snack and juice in the picture. Later we went to church. Ellis wasn't too happy to be left in the nursery...he wanted his Pappy. When I went to pick him up all he could ask for was Michael. I wonder how much Cassie will be willing to pay to have Michael come visit every once in a while to keep Ellis occupied when the little sister comes...All is quiet and dark in the Ellis household...winding down after another great day in the driveway. Tomorrow Uncle Bryce is coming...WHO KNOWS WHAT WE WILL BE IN TO.
