First Things First

Early yesterday morning Michael was up and at 'em. "Mom, did you leave Junior in the car last night" was what I heard as I rolled over after a great nights sleep. I told Michael that Junior was in the garage and then I didn't see him any more until I opened the garage door and found him in there sitting by the bucket. We decided that it was time to let Junior rejoin nature. We said our good-byes in our jammies and went in for breakfast. Mark was off so we tried to decide what to do with our day. Sarah had a dentist appointment so Mark went to Home Depot to get everything that we would need for our project...a clothesline. I have been wanting one for years and finally gave up a small portion of the yard to it. That was the hardest part...trying to decide where to put it so it blended in. (Already planning two flower beds around the posts for next year.)We took turns digging with the post hole digger. Man what a job...the temp was in the low nineties but it sure did seem hotter than that. Ellis and Ellis Construction was on the job...which lasted the rest of the day...quitting time was around 6:30PM. But I will have you know that I have the best smelling clothes in the neighborhood today.Miss Renee wants to use the line for her clothes also. She has been asking John for one for years she says. I told her that we could hook her up with a set....maybe we could start a little home business on the side...hmmmm....

I think your home business should be teaching novices like Renee and me about gardening. Gosh, you didn't need dinamite to dig the holes like you did here. How many post holes did you dig here.

That sure is a great looking wash line.
