Wednesday...

Peep was a mad man today...he worked circles around me...where does he get all this energy...He got up saying that we needed to move all the sand and level it up to the bricks...you need to realize that there is about a truck load...a big truck load of sand that has been in this backyard for probably 25-30 years...packed down really tight...The only thing I can say it that I am going to have the best looking abs and triceps in the neighborhood. While we were working we found a snake. I feel sure that Animal Planet will be calling Emmy really soon to star in her own series, "The Snake Handler". We worked off and on moving the sand. We got to take a few water breaks but Peep was possessed....we trimmed the oak tree, tamed a slow flushing toilet, fixed the basement windows, did a hystmy on a leaky kitchen sink and worked on a leaking gutter. He would have fixed the leaky bathroom sink but we didn't have the right tools. Tomorrow is another day and Home Depot and Lowe's are right down the road.Cassie and Ellis were relaxing on the hammock after a rousing games of squirt the hose and water balloon toss. Ellis ventures further and further into the backyard. He loves being outside. He has the cutest sandal tan line on the tops of his feet.As you can see, everyone helps...Ellis was thrilled to be standing in front of the cold refrigerator and choosing the salad dressings to go on the table. I think he decided that we needed them all. Looking forward to what ever comes tomorrow...if the weather cooperates I think it just might be fishing derby day.
