Monday...
We started the day out with a run to Wal-Mart for all the essentials of having a toddler in the house...new pacies because a certain dog keeps eating them.
I'm not sure if Ellis was sleepy because we had already worn him out or if he was ready for a nap...he was using these curly Cheetos for a pillow. So once we made it back home Ellis went down for a nap. When he woke up Mark and I were cleaning out the gutters. Michael,Ellis and Cassie too for that matter, were cooling their dogs off in the pool....
Ellis wasn't quite sure about the water...it was still on the chilly side. It didn't seem to bother Michael at all, he just jumped right in. ARGGG...pirates have to be tough!
Ellis opted to sit on the tractor with his helmet on and watch Michael. He thinks Michael is pretty funny and Michael loves to make him laugh. We decided that we should take a bike ride to check out all the new bikes. We loaded up every bike and bike helmet that we had and headed to the bike shop. We got Cassie a bike with an infant carrier on the back. We didn't have any room so Cassie had to ride to the parking lot of the bike trail...not really far. We are off, going a different way than ever before. I had packed snacks and water bottles for everyone. We rode to Newtown and found a nice little park to rest out buns.
We think that Cassie wins the award for the Silliest Mommy. Love the eye pretzels! Ellis and Michael thought they were pretty funny too.
We had to get one last shot before returning home. Tomorrow we start the day with another bike ride and a trip back to the Bike Store to see about getting Michael's pedals fixed.
