Friday....

The day began early for Cassie and Ellis...I have to say that I didn't get up until about an hour later. I'm the Gammy remember, don't move too fast in the mornings. but once we were all up and Mark was back from his appointment...we were off and running. First stop was Bryce's new loft downtown. When we got there he was vacuuming the carpets. It sure had changed in just a day with the new paint and everything put back in its place. It is beginning to look really nice...still a few things to work out but was great improvement. (See Cassie's blog for all the good pictures)...We all went to the "Equariaum" in Newport, KY...all Michael has talked about has been petting the sharks. We have read books about them, practiced petting them, watched movies about them...talked about them...we were ready. Brcye and I pet several. When it came time for Michael to pet one...oh no...'I STILL NEED TO THINK ABOUT IT'.There are tanks where the fish swim over you and some swim under you. It is really amazing. Here Sarah is just kidding around with an alligator...Michael doesn't like this picture.I think one of the highlights for Bryce was feeding the birds in the Rain forest. He kept trying to reach up and get one to perch on his finger...they told him just how they felt about that...not only with their beaks but from the other end too....He finally found one that was hungry...it ate right from the cup...Right at the end of our time at the Aquarium, Cassie found a kid size backwards periscope...it looked down into the water. While Michael was looking he saw a shark up close and the fin of another shark. He almost jumped out of his skin. We thought that was his favorite thing. So on the way out, thru the gift shop that they have strategically placed that you must exit thru...we were all saying what our favorite part of the "field trip" was our favorite. We all thought Michael would say all the sharks...we were shocked when he said the Gift Shop.!!
As most of our trips end, we eat. Our little expectant mother was famished so we had to find something quick. We should have known better...let's just say that we won't be going back there anytime soon. Bryce ...what can I say by this time was ready to be on his way to work. nother fun day comes to a close...who knows what tomorrow will bring.
