Good Morning

Last night was a rough night. I have a really bad cold. Michael was up until 1:30AM with a temp of 103.4. Needless to say it was a very long night. Thanks heavens Mark was home to take care of us. Sarah had to be at the school this morning at 6:45AM to go with the team to Ohio State for an indoor track meet. Mark had to drop her off on his way to work. I can down to the kitchen to get a bowl of orange sherbet...don't ask me why but when I am sick, orange sherbet, Pepsi and salty popcorn taste the best....anyway....I was standing at the kitchen sink looking at the dirty dishes wondering why Sarah hadn't put them in the dishwasher when something moved out of the corner of my eye. This is what I saw in our back yard.If you look really close you will see that there are three very young deer. They ate whenever they could find in our backward. They came so close to the backdoor. I am considering leaving them some corn tomorrow. But then again, when spring comes and the flowers start coming up I don't want them eating the flowers. Speaking of spring...love is in the air in the animal kingdom...if you get what I mean...a young man's fancy...They were in the yard for a good 30-45 minutes. I just kept snapping picture after picture. They hung around until the suns rays started hitting the tree. Then they just went thru our back yard into the corner of our neighbors yard and then into the woods. I think tomorrow morning I might get up a little earlier to see if they come back. That was fun. And I am sure that it will be the highlight of the day today!

you know you are old when you plan your sleeping schedule around what you think the deer might be doing! Also what did yu mean by love is in the air? I don't get it! If you mean what I think you mean and you kept snapping pictures of it that is SICK!!!!

I could sit all day looking at the deer out your window. I'd be real careful though if you don't want them to eat all of your flowers. I know there are some plants you can put in the ground that repel deer. Hard choise; being able to see them or having them eat your flowers. hmmm...

I couldn't leave a comment on the play date post, so I'll keave it here. Just wanted to say that one of Michale's frindes looks like AJ Newbery. Looks like those boys had a great time. DJ is counting down the weeks until he gets to play with Michael. Only six more.
