A Great Day for a Bike Ride

When I picked Michael up from preschool today I asked him if he wanted to go to the park and ride bikes. You should have seen him light up. He was ready to go without eating lunch. And for those of you that know Michael well, he doesn't miss a meal. But we were off. One bike rider and one walker...all the big bikes have flats. We will have to take care of that the next day Mark has off. Sun shining, gentle wind blowing and a little boy singing at the top of his lungs...what could be better. Not only did we ride bikes but we also took in signs of spring. We were even looking for a good hiding place for our Geocaching treasure. We got some really great places for Emmy and Nate to check out.

Thank you so much for that comment! I am so glad it doesn't look as bad as I think in my mind. I must say that I love reading Michael stories, I can tell there is never a dull moment in your house! Kids can bring a smile to your face so quickly!

Well, if you notice in the picture Mother-N-Law, I am fully dressed...8 AM is not the time awoke, but rather the time Ellis convinced me to go outside with him...I don't like it, but many times we too are alos, up before the birds, definately before the squirrls...I don't think they come out till 10 AM.
