Wammyville's Last Week: Hugs, Happy Tears And Absolute Mayhem

 

Starting the last week of preschool with an early extra recess before it rains.

I could spend all day like this.

Boone has discovered the pathway to the backyard.  We are in serious trouble.

She definitely isn't into bows and frilly dresses.

He is making himself a prisoner.

 Really don't know what goes through his little brain sometimes.

What a crew!

Sometimes you just ned a little help from your friends.

Our outside campfire got rained out, so the next best thing...s'mores made in the microwave.

They are ready for their turn at the microwave.  So excited!

The marshmallows just blew up.  When they saw them, their eyes got as big as saucers.

Saving a little chocolate for later.

Playing after the rain.

William will be crawling when he comes back in the fall.  Maybe even taking a few steps.

Boone is as fast as lightning!

Blakeley is still working on her core.

Our last day of preschool...

When it's raining and you can't get the tent up, the next best thing is camping under the school table.

Taking a trail mix break.

Praying before lunch.

This is a fake nap.

This is the real thing.  They all fell asleep and slept for 2 hours.

The Thompson girls showed up!  I was so excited and held it together...

for about a hot minute.

And then the floodgates opened up!

Celebrating 51 years of wedded bliss with some chicken and dumplings.  I'm a cheap date.

Well, maybe not so cheap.

Last breakfast at Wammyville for the year.

Here's the last day crew.

The girls worked on a birdhouse.

The boys worked on some gears.

Bailey is creating another masterpiece.

The boys finished.

The girls are trying to figure out how to paint the birdhouse.

Ava must have read 100 books.

As everyone was leaving, Ellis and Alaire showed up.  Unexpected.  So say I lost it, well, you know.

Two graduation parties for the 'family' in Hyde Park.  These yahoos love a good Sunset Slush.  But I think they like the one in Holden Beach the best.  They. make me smile!
