Family, Finish Lines, and Fabulous Birthdays

A few months ago, Michelle texted to see if she and her family could visit and use us for a stopover on their way to WI to visit family.  Are you kidding...YES!  The minute they walked in the door, I grabbed my newest grandson, Leif (rhymes with safe).

And I put his big sister, Lyza, to work!

And then she got to pick strawberries.

I got lots of baby holding in, we reminisced about the good old days, and ate delicious food Michelle prepared.  It was so good to see them and get to love on them.  Here they are getting ready to pack up the dogs and kids at midnight and head to WI on Sunday morning.

We got to sleep a bit, but then headed down to meet Emmy and T2 to watch friends run the Flying Pig.

And there she is looking great!!!!  Alyssa, Colton's mom, and first-time marathoner!

And another friend, Erika!

She was so proud of her first-time marathoner bib.

We got in a quick little rest before joining our little buddy and his friends for an awesome birthday party.
