Nature's Surprises In Our Yard

 

We might be brushing the dogs and saving the dog hair clumps for the birds to use in their nest construction.

We made a little nesting container with all sorts of items, and they are using them, just in the wrong place.  This was in the bluebird box!

Sure doesn't look big enough to be a raccoon.  Poor thing, he scratched up his nose pretty bad.

I didn't know bluejays liked marshmallows.

Looks like a family of House Wrens are moving in.

Another day, another squirrel.

A Carolina Wren nest on the front porch.

This sneaky little mister has been back multiple times, or he has sent his cousins to check out the feeder.
