Please Let It Snow...A Lot

Things like this fuel my fire!

This...this would be amazing!  I'll be up hours pacing, waiting for it.

Mark picked up some of my favorite 'waiting snacks'.

He also picked up some Blizzard food.

Nothing like a good crock pot full of soup beans.

Claudia is all set up in my warm blanket on the end of the couch on my lap.

Best snow cream recipe!

And it finally begins at 6:30 pm...hours behind schedule.

11pm is a lot disappointing to say the least.

4:45 am...now we are talking!

After a little snack, I took time to put my head out the bedroom window on Sunday morning.  No church today!  Now it was time for a little nap before another day of snow watching began.

Olllie doesn't care how much it snows or how much he collects on his back; he knows in his heart that the little squirrel that is perched on that little twig of a branch will somehow lose his balance and tumble down right in front of him.

The funniest thing is that he never barked, and usually he is a barking fool.

I  needed an assistant, so Oobie got the job.
I had a little extra time on my hands and enough brains to be dangerous.  You can thank my grandchildren for giving me the whatever to make the AI thingies.

The 9 am report.  I must tell you that I get snow reports and snow documentation from lots of people, from my kids, to friends in WI, relatives in WV, and OH.  I just gotta know!

I love seeing the birds at the feeder.  Squirrels, not so much.

I'm just guessing here, but I can see some sunflowers in my future.

My real snow angel.  It was so different making it in heavy snow, which was very powdery.

Official measurement at 5pm on Jan 25 is a solid 8 inches!

Which deserved a little walk around the yard.

This might be difficult to figure out, but it is Claudia on a warm towel as close to the heat vent as she can possibly get.

Last look of the night (who am I trying to kid)?
