Learning, Laughing, and Letting Go Before Christmas Break

Mark it down...SNOW DAY...Dec 15th.

Boom was ready, but no one came.

taking shelter

The old oak tree dropped many leaves, and the dogs have made several trails to chase the squirrels.

We had to play catch-up.

The yahoos have never worked harder than they did this week.

So that is how Colton prints so well.

I love these huge plastic push pins.  Ms. Carolyn supplies us with styrofoam.

snipping

A very competitive game of Bingo.

Practicing our straights and curves.

She can do it.

Greg gifted each Whiz Kid an autographed copy of his Christmas book.  I even signed them.

Gabe got out of Pappy's bus with a one-eyed headache.  We made a bed for him under the school table with my sleep mask.  Gladys was concerned about it.

Their first play date.

On Tuesday night, our Life Group went out for our annual Christmas dinner at the Japanese Steakhouse.

We all felt like we ate way too much.  But I had enough for lunch tomorrow.

decorating Christmas trees

Covering the letter R with a paperclip and then gathering them with a magnetic wand.

My friend Shannon always gifts us a Christmas tablecloth.

If I remember right, Aiden made a snow angel.

It's party day, but we still have schoolwork to do.

Coloring on the kitchen floor.

Can you tell that the yahoos were the ones who decorated the tree this year?   I love it!

And they are off...

Now it is the big kids' turn after they were dropped off.

The sisters!

They were thrilled with their gifts.

Adi made waffles for dinner.

I didn't get any shots of the boys because they were having a war with the Nerf guns that Pappy picked out.  They were on cloud nine to say the least.
