Earth Day

 

Yes, we mixed our blue and green playdough.  How else are you going to make the Earth?

We made nightlights out of ping pong balls and tealights.

We painted them with the most magical paint sticks I have ever seen.  Thank you, Cincinnati Museum of Art.

Big smiles!

Of course, we practiced writing the most important word we know...our names.

Clipboards in hand we hit the front yard and our across-the-street neighbor's yard looking for items on our scavenger hunt.

The only item we could not find was a butterfly.

He's got his whole world in his hand.

Ava loves to read.  I think she read an entire book in one day.

Boone and Blakeley came for a visit so the big kids could have a mommy-daughter date and a daddy-son outing.  Colton was so good with Boone.  He sang the sweetest song and rocked him so gently.
