Lots Of Adventures Over Spring Break

We decided that we weren't going to do much cooking over Spring Break, so we got in the drawer and broke out the gift cards.  The first stop was Poochie's for breakfast.

Then we got wind that some of the yahoos were going bowling really close to the house.  So of course, we showed up to cheer them on.

This is the good group shot....

And this is the silly one.

Gabe got upset because Pappy messed up his silly face, so he got an individual shot.

Reds' Opening Day!  We didn't go downtown to the parade, but I felt like I was there...

We went over to Carolyn's to help with a little house clean-up and ended the night with driving 'Ms. Daisy' to dinner.

The Bruce sent me a pic to see if I could guess where they were hiking.

My first guess was the Nature Center, and then I changed my mind.

We may have made a second trip to Poochie's.

A little thrifting was in order.  Believe it or not, I came out empty-handed.

I was in the driveway trying to clean the dog kennels up, and the spigot was messed up.  I told Mark, and he thought we just needed to replace the split thing at the spigot.  Jon Bruce found this in the basement.

That ruined my day.

We have a river in the basement all the way from the outside wall to the drain in the floor on the opposite side of the room.  Worst part is that we won't be able to hook up the soaker hoses for the garden on that side of the yard until it gets fixed.

To make things a little less stressful, we had an impromptu picnic on the patio with the Bruces.

Meatballs from Daughter's Pizza Kitchen are the best I HAVE EVER HAD!

I have been wanting to try this one...Mr. Potato Head.  It is like a loaded baked potato on the best pizza crust EVER.
