Our Indiana Thanksgiving

The front of my newest Thanksgiving shirt.  Reminds me of tradition.  Haven't we all made a turkey by tracing our hands and coloring our fingers all different colors for the feathers?

We are so much.  And everything was sooooo good.

All the dogs kept a close eye on what was going on in the kitchen.

Trevor got up early and made some awesome cinnamon rolls!

Mark made a cranberry salad.

Cassie used Mamaw's (Mark's mom's) china.  And those are my dad's salt and pepper shakers.

The menu...sweet and regular tea, cranberry salad, homemade mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, roasted broccoli, butternut squash casserole (from our garden), Brussle sprouts, and pork tenderloin.

Derby pie

An amazing chocolate cake made by Cassie from scratch.

We had to get up and move so we took a little hike near Perdue.

The dogs loved it.

This was the first attempt of the group shot.

This is what we finally agreed on.

We made it back home and decided to veg and watch cooking shows on TV.

Our dogs were in for a treat all the time we were gone...they got to get up on the couch.

There was not much room left for anyone else and Winnie.

Saturday was a big day.  I got a new t-shirt to wear.

We went tot he high school to watch Ellis swim and Alaire time the swimmers.

Alaire in the orange/pink t-shirt and Ellis is the tall one.

Pappy watching his Ohio State game.
