Hot One In Indiana

 We got up early to go to West Lafayette for one of Ellis's only track meets.  What a scorcher!  While we were there we celebrated Cassie's birthday.

But first things first!  Breakfast at a new place Trevor told us about.  And it wasn't McDonald's as it looks in the shot.

The Country Cafe did not disappoint!  It was delicious.

He runs the two-mile.  I couldn't even run around the turn.  Can you see him at the start?

Running in the heat is not his favorite!

I came home with something special.  Ouch!  Summer has officially started.

We found an awesome place for lunch.

Love the placement of the entire menu.

I love lean brisket!  And collards!

We reached the storm and the moon home later that evening.  Just made it before dark.
