The Girls Are Growing Up

New puppies about 8 weeks old.

Their little legs are getting longer.

That sweet little face.

I love that wonky ear!

Those eyes!

And then we have this.  It is called her Titanic Pose.  One of the ladies in our Life Group took it.  Crack me up!

They are so full of energy.  They play constantly.  The best purchase we have made in our lives to date is the doggie door.

They love everyone that comes in the doors at Wammyville.  They are a little shyer with the big people.  But they can smother the little people with tons of kisses.  They come when the kids call then or when Ava whistles!  They climb on the end table to get a better look at what is gin on in the kitchen.  Playing fetch is there all-time favorite pastime.  Imogene gots in her kennel at night when it is time for bed.  If you haven't closed the doggie gate Gladys will run outside and look at you through the glass door.  When she finally comes in it is belly up.  She will not go in her kennel at night by herself.  She doesn't fight it but just refuses to do it on her own.  They are usually ready to go outside around 4:30-5AM.  And Glady (her nickname now) is the one that usually starts barking for us. They go out and come back in and onto the couch or the chair and wait for us to get up to feed them breakfast around 6AM.

If there are things in the family room that are not nailed down you can find them in the backyard.  They are so fast.  They like little people shoes, stuffed animals, clothing...

They are herders for sure.  I let the goats out to get some exercise and they start herding.  And once they actually go the goats back in the fence.  They bark at the goats more than they bark at anything else.  They really aren't barkers (knock on wood)

Gladys is the fastest runner.  And sometimes she has a mind of her own.  Imogene is a good listener and will obey 99% of the time.
They love to wrestle!  They both escaped from the backyard together once...or new neighbors brought them back and handed them over the fence to me.  Gladys or as we sometimes call her, Harry Houdini and dug under the fence twice to get to us.  We were sitting on the porch one evening and her she comes around the house just pretty as you please.  One day we all were on the driveway playing and she came running out from under Pappy's truck...through the garden and under the fence.  She is slick!

They are lots of fun!  The only thing that they haven't mastered is walking on leashes together.  When we go for walks we either have to go separate ways or have a staggered start.  All they want to do it play.  That's not going to work when we are hiking!

So far I have to say that they are tons of fun!
