Painting Rocks With Judi

We drove to Drake in a little bit of snow. We might have dropped a few rocks in the North Lobby and on the elevator...(one of her nurses found the one I dropped and was so excited about it). While we were there every time we would look out the window there were more snowflakes and some of them were really big.  Judi kept saying how pretty it was.  We took all kinds of candy and even Valentine's Day napkins.  It was a rock painting party!

We fixed us up a little table with all our stuff.  Worked just perfectly.  We had some Jason Gray playing in the window.  Our toes were toasty and warm and we chit-chatted all morning.

Judi even tried painting with her paint pens.  She did break down once and painted a rock with regular paint and a paintbrush.

That is some serious concentration.

It was a great morning.  While we were there Judi ate some of the candy we brought and she even ate a PBJ and drank a Boost.  We were so glad to see that!  Look at that smile on her face!  I think she enjoyed her ' craft time'.  We plan to do it again sometime soon.  Anyone else want to join us?  She throws us out when she is ready to take a nap.

We ended up with 20+ rocks.  I brought some of them home to coat and next time we go see Judi I will take them.
