Last AT Hike For The Trip

After looking back through the pictures again I noticed that I left out a few days...sooo...

Oh the bugs of Maine! Our campsite for a few days while we look for moose in Maine.

Pappy found the mecca of all breakfast cafe's

Just one of the displays in the cafe. This place ate up all the info on the AT and spit it out all over the walls and ceiling.

When you finish the Thur-hike you get to come back and sign the ceiling tile that represents your class.

Home sweet finally dried out home. We dd go get a few different types of bug spray. Some for our bodies, some for our clothes and some for our tents.

We didn't get a close look at this little snake but she sure made Ellis jump into the air.

This is the waterfall that we were to see. More like a raging river.

And maybe a little strawberry shortcake for a little pick me up.

After all the spraying and sleeping inside my sleeping bag liner with it up over my head, they still got me tight in the corner of my eye. Itched like crazy!

We found this resort and had lunch. The New England Outdoor Center. I'd say we were a little out of our league but my money spends just like other people's money.
