Spring Break Clean-Up

We had such great intentions.  We made a list.  A project a day for almost every day during Spring Break.  Well, it didn't happen because on Friday...the first day of said break...both of us came down with the creeping crud!  Bedridden for 2-3 days.  Finally, Mark was able to get out and scratch one project off the list...remove the little droopy wall in the front yard.

The men of the family teamed up and cleaned out the ditch and got rid of most of the leftover leaves from fall.

Then came the bush massacre!  Oops, I mean trimming.  If you were a bush, you got a buzz cut.  If you were a grass...you were taken down to the ground.  This is my least favorite project because we can NEVER agree as to how it should be done.  And clean -up is ALWAYS a pain.

Compost bins are almost full but there was not enough for a load for Bzak, so we burnt it.  Then you have to clean out the fire pit, but that is on the summer to do list.

Let's see how far down the list we get by Sunday night.
