All By Myself

Tuesdays are Pappy's errands running days...preschool drop-off and pick-up, MMM pickup at church and then drop-off at MMM.  Today he added a trip to Kroger for ingredients for the Chili Cook-Off at church tomorrow night and a little trip to Christ Hospital.  So for today, it took me back to when our kids were little and you needed six extra arms.

You won't believe it but the morning went great.  We played hard.

Levi was showered with love and lots of toys.

I don't know who he was calling but they got an ear full.

The little king on his thrown phoning one in also.

Then it was time to climb on everything.

Monkey see monkey do!

Getting a little love from Louie...always my favorite!

Another selfie with Ava but with Mini too.  She had the hardest time trying to figure it all out.  We took a million and this was the best that we got.

We got the car tower out and had a few bizillion races.

Supervising the big kids.  Connor was having a moment at the toy box.

I think he is cutting some teeth and I better watch the baby dolls...they may come up missing limbs.

And then it came time to pick up the toys and get ready for Adi to come home from Preschool, for Louie to get picked up and have some lunch so we could take a nap.  It's all in the schedule, people!  They know what to do when Alexia plays the clean-up song. They know where they sit.  And they are starting to realize that there is only one Wammy and they must be patient.  Lunch went well. Jon brought me some of my favorites from Miami Market.  And everyone ate well.  They have been asleep for about two hours and I am starting to hear some chatter from the living room.  So now we begin again with diaper changes, nose blowing, hand washing, and a snack.  Waiting for Cooper and Delaney to get off the bus and then pickups begin.  It is going to get crazy. But my day is not over.  Meeting at church and then I will be making my (hopefully) Award Winning Chili for the Cook-Off tomorrow night at church.  Mark has his recipe and I have mine.  The competition is stiff.  He was the Grand Champion last year...which we hear about on a daily basis.  Can't let him win again.  Blogs to follow.
