Christmas In The Hospital

He never imagined that we could pull in off.  Mark, Emmy, Micahel and I, Cassie, Trevor, Ellis and Alaire, Maddie and Ella packed in the truck and in Cassie's car filled with all kinds of food and snacks headed for WV.  always an interesting trip.  We dropped the dogs off with titch at Peep's and headed for the hospital to surprise Peep.  I think he was shocked and beyond surprised.

We filled the lobby outside the Skilled Nursing Unit.  Anyone that got off the elevator was invited to our party. Robin, Kenny, Molly, Zach, and Dustin joined us.  So if my math right there were 14 of us.  But it sounded like a small army.

Alaire played some Christmas Carols and then she played the piece that she composed.

We ate and ate some more.   Then it was time to open gifts.  Peep has a personal shopper.  Her name is Emmy.  And she is good!

Emmy found all kinds of games to keep him busy during his downtime.

Then we had time to play the White Elephant Game.

The pups all got along really well.

Next day he was up bright and early for PT.

He is working so hard to get strong.  He knows that he needs to do well if he is ever going to get to go back to Wyngate.  He is on day 38 of this hospital stay.

Getting ready to head back to Ohio for New Year's.
