Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio

We have done some traveling this summer.  Today one of my friends said that we had wheels on our butts.  I sure feel like it!

So on the way to WI, we dropped off Cassie, the kids, and Ella.  Next morning we were up all bright and bushy tailed and headed to Joel and Brittney's wedding.

But first a lunch stop at one of our old stomping grounds...Culvers.

And in front of us at the toll booth....

Benny, Joel, Adam, Dan-O and Mark

Boys to men, literally!

And Pappy charmed the Princess.

Dan officiated (just not the mushy, more serious parts) along with Adam.

The setting could not have been more perfect or beautiful.

Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club

And there they go Mr. and Mrs.

The Red Barn was decorated to a tea with all the things that I love...old barn wood, lanterns, burlap and lots of candles and little lights.

And my good buddy Joy!

It is like we never left.  Just picked right up where we left off  11 years ago.
Funny thing...we both have short hair again.

Hannah Bell and Abigail.  Not possible they are as old as they are.

They looked so great!

So after the wedding, we headed to Fontana to see Bob and Nancy.  Nancy had to miss the cousin trip to Parker Dam.  It was great to visit with them.  Just not long enough.

We headed to Shepherds  Ministries for the night.  Nice dorm room was just what the doctor ordered. Awesome hot shower and the lights were out.  Up bright and early to have breakfast with Ms. Yvonne and Kyle and a really good Mom and Pop place less than 1/2 mile away.  I have been kicking myself since we left that I didn't get a pic of them.  What was I thinking!

Took our time getting back to Cassie's for Trevor's birthday dinner with all of us and Trevor's parents.  And Sunday Ellis and Alaire were baptized.  Big weekend...made lots of memories for sure.

But I must confess I am glad to be home to play with the goats, talk to the chickens, and love on the dog.  And of course, see Micahel and Emmy.
