Day Two In Indiana

Our farmnig adventure at Fair Oaks Farm.  Did you notice the chicken on the roof?

It was a perfect day to be inside.  Lots of wind,  Some rain, and COLD!

And this kid was in shorts!

He read everything that was in print.  Just like his Pappy and Michael.

This little guy was only 45 minutes old.

The we went to lunch at The Farmhouse.  Michael couldn't put his new book down.  He is on number 11 of the 13 book series.  He can read literally anywhere.

The it was back on the bus for the Cow Tour...after the movie.

We just missed this one being born.

A little climbing for the 'little' ones.

We just missed this birth.

We got to see the first feeding.

And then there was this amazing happening!!!

She finally laid down and then things began to move.  Can you see the white legs just above her tail?

From beginning to end we sat waiting for this calf to enter the world. for about 40 minutes.  Amazing!!

Back to the movie that we didn't finish because our bus to the cows came early.

We had our only private showing.
