Quick Trip For A Birthday

We all jumped in the car and headed to Cassie's for Ellis' birthday celebration.  One day trip this time.

Boys in the front.  Girls in the middle.  And Ella in the back.  Looks like the co-pilot might be taking an early morning snooze.

We got there just in time to go to lunch.  Family birthday tradition...birthday person chooses all meals for the day.  They had already had cinnamon rolls.  But first, there was a little gift opening.

There is a taco place that Ellis LOVES close to Perdue...

And then the party began..shopping with Auntie Em!  You just never know what will happen.

I found a new game to play...100 PICS QUIZ.  We spent just a little time playing.

Riding is a tough job.  She is a good passenger for sure.

More gifts.

Alaire made sure that he would be able to practice his honey in kicking skills.  She had all kinds of targets for him to put on his net.

Dinner....filet mignon, onion straws, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, hash, and a huge salad with yummy homemade dressing.

The birthday person also get to choose the cake.  Ellis's favorite is a Hummingbird Cake.

And it was a loud rendition of Happy Birthday To You.  Can you even guess why!

It was a great but short day.  But that's okay because we are celebrating Thanksamas this year in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas so everyone will be here...all together...one big happy bunch!
