Some Red Rocks In Red Rock Canyon

So breakfast in Vegas. We chose the Grand Lux Cafe and what an awesome choice it was!

Beignets for me! A whole bunch of them. So many I had to save about half od them

Michael decided to try fried chicken and waffles. OMG! With honey and maple syrup for dipping! We figured that he wouldn't need to eat for about three days after this.

Another one of those unexpected shots with Michael and he is smiling.

We had a little time to kill before heading back to the airport to pick up Cassie and her crew. So what did we do but hit the road! A little drive never hurt anyone. A little drive in a 15 passenger van

Let me just say that right around Vegas is it flat and hot. But not humid. Little boring until you start seeing red in the rocks.

And then you can't get enough of them.

Off to Red Rock Canyon. We had our eyes peeled looking for John Wayne looking out behind a red rock.

When you are taking family shots someone always offers to take the shot for you. Then you get to taking and find out where everyone is from. Then you find out what a small world it is.

How do you like my new hat! Got it right before we left as an afterthought. Boy was I sure glad I had it.
