Headed Back To Northside...127 North

Little did I know that 127 N takes you through Northside.  We didn't get to spend much time there the other day so we headed back following 127.  Let's just say that the way we traveled there really wasn't much to see.  We were really off our game this year.  I'm sure there were lots of places to see and great stuff to buy...we just didn't see it.

 

Not much going on anywhere.

We had the Bob so we really couldn't stop anywhere to eat.  The sidewalks were crowded.  the shops and restaurants too small and crowded for the Bob so we just walked down one side of the street and up the other back to the van.  We turned the corned and hit the mother load!

I had seen of FB that the author of a blog Ms. Renee and I love, House of Hawthornes, was going to be in Northside with Krylon Paints doing a demo on how to paint the treasures you found at the Yard Sale.  See the lady with the black hair?  That's the famous Amy Devers...she is the host and design expert on A&E's Fix This Yard.  We didn't get to see Pam of House of Hawthornes.

Had to stop in to see this little jewel just because it had a chicken on the signage.
