Michael's Debut

Tonight was a huge night for the Ellis family. Michael made his singing debut but first things first.

The Oakes made the trip to show their support.  Ellis pulled his own tooth today.

Part of the fan club.  Bryce and Tini came just as the show was beginning.  Emmy brought the Manders...all five of them.  And Ronda, Skyler, and Lynlee came too.

First soloists...Michael Ellis.  Yep, you read that right.  Michael sang a solo.  Not a big one but it was a solo.  And he did an awesome job!

And then there were all the added little extra dramatics.  Michael had his own little stage at the top of the steps.

The play was great.  The kids were all well behaved and right on cue.

 

I never dreamed in a million years that Michael would ever do anything like this.  He made me proud.

 

After the show were were helping put chairs away and we started talking to the music teacher.  She said that all the teachers have a Michael story.  And hers is...the first day she ever met Michael was the first day he came into her classroom for music.  He proceeded to wrap his arms and legs around her desk leg and tell her that he hated music!  The only music that he likes was rock-n-roll.  Boy, has he sure come a long way!

 

So proud of Michael for asking for an audition.  It has to be the most amazing things I have ever seen.  Who would have thought that he had it in him.  Maybe he has unleased his inner self...of Lordie, we better watch out!
