Big Scouting Day

Today was a marathon scouting day.  First church at Trinity for Scout Sunday and then on to the Blue and Gold Banquet where Michael and his friends crossed over into Boy Scouts.

Matt never received his Arrow of Light so the Pack presented it to him.  He went on to be an Eagle Scout and a Den Leader for 5 years.  Michael is pretty excited about his Arrow of Light.

This is my buddy Logan.  I have been pestering him about making me one of those survival bracelets since we went to Peterloon.  So tonight he presented me with one.  I love it...it is camo.

 

It had been a great scout experience for all of us these last three years.  I know that Boy Scouts will be even more fun.  Tomorrow night is Michel's first Troop meeting...now he goes by himself...just cutting another apron string...and is it ever hard.
