Sad Day...Last Fun Friday of 2012

I didn't tell them where we were going.  I gave no hints.  I answered questions with, 'I don't know, we will just have to see.  Once we went under the 'zoo bridge'  Doodles announced that we were at the ZOO!  We parked and the best part was the Emmy and her crew were there waiting for us!  Oh happy day!

Whenever we go to any zoo we always take giraffe shots for Ms Renee.

We had to get jsut one shot of the flamingos.  They are pink and what little girls doesn't lie pink?

This penguin in the Children's Zoo really put on a diving and swimming show for us.

And these guys were the loudest  I have even heard them.  Singing for their breakfast I think.

Three little piggies in the nursery.

Baby wallabys

Doodles said that she was reading and couldn't move on to the next thing.  We asked her when she learned to read...'yesternight.'

Girls rule and boys drewl.

The speckled bear always looks so sad.

Let me just ask you a question...Do you see a baby in her lap?  I don't and neither does anyone else.  But Doodles insisted that there were three on exhibit.  She proceeded to tell everyone around us that there were three.  Not today, Doodle Bop.

And according to our resident zoologist...this is the daddy.

Taking a break under the bamboo.

Allyson was so excited to ride for the first time on the carousal.  When we were walking to the gate she looked up at me and ask me if we could do it again tomorrow.  I promised next zoo trip we could do it first.

Nothing better that having lunch on the curb in the shade when the weather feels like 105 degrees and it wasn't even noon yet!

Newest Exhibit just open before we got there...Giant Galapagos Tortoise

There are seven 4 year old tortoises that can be pet.  They currently weight 20 pounds and can grow up to 600 pounds.  They can live up to 150 years.

These elephant pictures are for Allyson.  These animals were all she wanted to see all day long.  And if she asked once she asked 500 times.  So many times that Fiona told Emmy that is was getting a little annoying.

This is what they all sis on the way home.  Carter sis even make it out of the parking space  in the parking lot.

It was a great last Fun Friday.  Better up my game for next  year because of school scheduling we might just have to have Fun Fridays and Marvelous Mondays or Terriffic Tuesdays.
