Birthday Dinner For Aunt Sarah

It is so hard to get up all together these days.  Seems like everyone is going in opposite directions.  We have had Sarah's planned for a day closer to her birthday but had to reschedule it to this Sunday.  But Bryce and Emmy went to WV to stay with my Dad in the hospital.  Sooo...Mark and I took the three yahoos and Sarah to O'Charley's (her choice) for birthday dinner.

We have a rule at our house...if we go out to dinner you must use your best manners and order your own dinner.  Alaire ordered her dinner and asked for pink lemonade.  the waitress brought her a Sprite.  So this is how you take care of that situation...double straws.

The kids all signed a card for her.  Ellis was translating the writings...they all seemed to be in a circle?  He thought that was pretty cool.

Just because we could, we went to DQ for birthday dessert.  Alaire seems to like her 'Princess' blizzard  AKA cotton candy blizzard.
