Celebrating
Today is the one year anniversary of Sarah Beth's Heaven Day. I first have to say that I borrowed the name from Andrea, one of Cassie's friends in CO, who also this year celebrated her son, Daniel's Heaven Day. They remembered Daniel by flying rainbow colored balloons.
Today I will be honoring Sarah Beth by placing a single pink balloon on the lamp post. I will also tell at least two people about her on line journal (LoveYourGuts.com). I will be posting a pic on FB. Join me to see how big our balloon bouquet will grow. Please let others know.
I am choosing to celebrate Sarah Beth's Heaven Day by flying a pink balloon in honor of her courage in fighting cancer for 5 years. I also will probably go thru lots of pictures and laugh and more than likely shed a few tears remembering all the things I was able to do with her and with her family and friends over the years. She made such an impact on so many in her 30 years on earth. Please take time to visit her online journal, LoveYourGuts. You will be able to see inside her heart and know that she is wise beyond her years. She got it! She understood what God wanted her to do and she was willing to fight for it tooth and nail. I am also going to participate in the 1st Annual Sarah Napier/LoveYourGuts 5K Memorial Run/Walk on May 21 in Barboursville, WV. All the money raised will go to two things that were very dear to Sarah Beth...Camp Cowen and spreading the Word. She spent countless summers at Camp Cowen. And she loved children and had a desire for them to learn about Jesus. What better way to do that than purchasing Bibles and giving them to children and adults in the tri-state area.
If you can't join us for this memorable day, please consider sending a donation to:

As Sarah Beth would say..."it will make my heart happy!"
