Thank You Mother Nature!

Those were the first words out of Michael's mouth this morning!

There was a flurry of activity in the bathroom last night after Michael got out of the shower.  He runs thru the family with three ice cubes to flush them down the toilet.  Then he proceeded to do the Snow Dance.  We had already heard that we would be having a two hour delay...not good enough...Snow Day is what we need.  Then Mark got in on the activity...he and Michael did the WV Snow Dance...sounded like a cheer that I have heard before..something about your hands up high, you feet down low, that's the way the snow will blow.  I wonder how many of the adult old 3 and 4 year old preschoolers do the Snow Dance they learned in Mrs. Ellis's classroom...are they carrying on the Snow Dance tradition?  I sure hope so!

This is what we work up to this morning.  It wasn't so much the amount of snow that cancelled school today....more like the negative wind chill and icy roads.    Whatever it was I will take it!  Bad part about it is ...the Cub Scout Pack Meeting/ Paper Airplane Derby is cancelled for tonight.
