A Little Something....

that makes me scratch my head...but I will give it a good try. The other night Emmy presented me with this...

It is called a Wash Ball.

Wash Ball Instructions

The Wash Ball is an easy way to clean your clothes economically! No scoping, measuring or pouring and they are easy to store. Each wash ball contains 4 different types of ceramic balls that work together to clean your wash without harsh chemicals. Wash balls are safe and hypo-allergenic.

  • Place Wash Ball in water for 1 hour before using to activate the ceramic balls in each Wash Ball
  • Wash color clothes separately
  • For very dirty clothes, only fill machine 1/5 of normal load
  • Place Wash Ball on top of clothes
  • Follow normal steps of operation for you machine
  • Place Wash Ball in the sun once a month to promote longevity
  • Do not boil the balls, outside is made of plastic

So far I have done three loads and the clothes are clean and they smell good. I don't know, it might just work and same me a ton of money. One of Emmy's friends, Kate, swears by it. I have one question...how do you know when you need to replace the Wash Ball?

After the first comment I got from my friend Jan in CA, I went back to see if there was something I missed on the tag that was attached. And oh yes...so maybe this will help you understand the thinking behind the Wash Ball.

Ceramic Balls:

  • Infrared negative ball: Activates water(30g)
  • Alkaline ceramic ball: Adjust ORP and PH Value (30G)
  • Antibacterial ball: Creates negative ions for efficient sterilization (30G)
  • Ultra-alkaline balls: for bleaching, softening, removing bad smells and antistatic (30G)

Interesting, I don't know the answer to your question. I don't even understand how this works.
