Another Blog

I promise that this is the last blog I will ever have...seven blogs to keep up with and keep interesting is going to be a big challenge for the coming year. But it is what I enjoy doing. You can blame Cassie for this one...Eating Our Way Thru OH will be about our adventures with food. We like to eat. Some of us are more adventurous than others. Hopefully by 'doing research' for this blog we (I) will broaden our (my) horizons. We are also going to try to start to buy as much as we can locally. Meaning not many trips to Kroger and Wal-Mart. Findlay Market, Newtown Farmers Market, roadside stands, maybe even a better attempt at growing our own seems to be in our future. That is all Emmy's brainchild. As usual this will be a family adventure. I am sure that we will have lots to share because if you know us at all you know that we love to eat. Mark, Emmy, Cassie and Bryce are the adventurous ones. They like spicy. They like the unusual. While the rest of us just like all that stuff we grew up eating...chicken, mashed potatoes, pineapple upside-down cake, pizza....and we might tend to like fast food just a little more than the others too.

We will be sharing our successes and failures in the kitchen. As we struggle with our new adventure we are hoping that you will share recipes, places you love to eat, the best fresh food markets....anything that you feel will help us get out of our rut!
